History

This is the third season of Rose City Vaudeville and each year we grow in talent and community. A brainchild of the Ms. Maquette who drug her Happy along for the ride! She had been a fire performer for many years in Colorado and he was a stiltwalker that performed with a troupe in Arizona. The two are now married and the backbone of the vaudeville and together with their talented friends have performed across the west.
Lodekka Rose, the 1962 English double decker bus, was gifted to the troupe and is slowly becoming the backdrop when the troupe moves in and around Portland. During the warm summer Last Thursdays on Alberta Street, she provides the stage for a busker's corner (busker:the practice of performing in public places for tips) and is the caboose for the Alberta Art Hop Parade with all her vaudevillian and Victorian friends.
